    The second in sequence of two three-hours courses designed for elementary education majors. Models discussed fall into three categories: discrete, continuous, and spatially distributed. Biological topics discussed range from the subcellular molecular systems and cellular behavior to physiology problems, population biology and developmental biology.

    This course provides an introduction to the use of continuous and discrete differential equations in the biological sciences.
