MUSI 3338 - Exploring Vernacular Musics of Mexico and the Americas

Focused study of the vernacular musics of Mexico, Southwest America, Central America, and South America in their cultural context, covering the music of indigenous peoples to current folk music trends. Students attend and write reports on live performances. Open to all students from all majors.
