EDUC 2310 - Diversity 3 hour(s) Examines diversity, in regard to children, families, and communities in our society. An emphasis on advocacy which fosters inclusiveness, self-awareness, understanding, and community involvement. Topics include a variety of cultural aspects, including but not limited to race, ethnicity, identity, culture, language, socioeconomic status, gender, and ability. 10 clock hours of immersion experience is required for this course.
