PHIL 3350 - Philosophy of Emotions

3 hrs
Study of the importance of emotion for human agency; exploration of questions of value in making sense of emotions at a political, ethical and personal level. Students will reflect on the nature of human feelings, how and why we understand what other people feel, and how our values become involved in emotions such as guilt, fear, shame amusement, or love.
Prerequisite: PHIL 2321 .
Offered: Every other year.
