SPED 2338 - Survey of Exceptionalities3 hrs
An overview of differences associated with varying exceptionalities as defined under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Improvement Act (IDEIA). Review of professional issues, legal and ethical considerations and best practices in instruction, detection, and programming for culturally and linguistically diverse students with exceptionalities. Service-learning in a special education setting required.
