MATH 4350 - Biomathematics3 hrs This course provides an introduction to the use of mathematical techniques applied to solve problems in biology. Models discussed fall into three categories: discrete, continuous, and spatially distributed. Biological topics discussed range from the subcellular molecular systems and cellular behavior to physiology problems, population biology and developmental biology. Prerequisites: MATH 2413 , MATH 3322 . Offered: Spring.
