MATH 1301 - Mathematics for the Liberal Arts Quantitative Reasoning 3 hrs College Mathematics for Liberal Arts is a course designed for liberal arts and other non-mathematics, non-science, and non-business majors, emphasizing an appreciation of the art, history, beauty, and applications of mathematics. Topics may include, but are not limited to, sets, logic, number theory, measurement, geometric concepts, and an introduction to probability and statistics. Prerequisite: Placement in MATH 1301 via SAT, ACT, TSI or Accuplacer placement test scores approved by department. Fee: $30. Offered: Fall, Spring. (GE)
