MUSI 4156 - OLLU Chamber Music Ensembles

Develops the art of performing in small instrumental or mixed vocal and instrumental ensembles by studying the music literature and performance styles of all musical periods in on- and off-campus performances. If needed, student may rent instruments from the OLLU Music Program for $40.00 per semester. Open to all students from all majors. Audition required; auditions take place the first week of each semester. May be repeated for credit. two hours a week. Grading Basis: Letter Grade Repeatable for credit: Yes
Co-requisite: One of the following: University Choir (MUSI 1151, MUSI 1152, MUSI 2151, MUSI 2152, MUSI 3151, MUSI 3152, MUSI 4151, MUSI 4152) or OLLU Band (MUSI 1170, MUSI 1171, MUSI 2170, MUSI 2171, MUSI 3170, MUSI 3171, MUSI 4171, MUSI 4172) or Mariachi (MUSI 2135, MUSI 3141) or OLLU Orchestra (MUSI 3155, MUSI 3156) or by instructor permission. Acceptance by audition; contact the instructor to schedule an audition.
