ARTS 5336 - Barrio Art and Popular Culture

The study of folklore and popular culture in San Antonio’s Mexican and Mexican American Barrio to barrios and popular culture in developing Mexican and Afro Latinx countries. The comparison will take the form of  verbal and nonverbal expressive forms including visual and performing arts, music, ritual traditions, and film. Experiential learning component is part of this course. Grading Basis: Letter Grade Repeatable for credit: No
