An introduction to the Teacher Education Program with emphasis on the responsibilities of the teacher to the child and the community and the role of the school in preparing students for lifelong learning. Awareness of high-need teaching areas, career options and observations of varied and diverse student populations in PK-12
settings, and meeting faculty and staff involved in teacher education. 10 hours of Field Experience required.
