Current approaches to second language acquisition (SLA) and English Language Learner (ELL) instruction; methodology of teaching and testing English Language Learners (ELL); design, implementation and evaluation of ELL programs and materials. Analysis of language contact in society including code-switching, language varieties and bilingualism. 10 hours of Field Experience required.
