Focuses on legal policies as determined through the court system and implemented with national and state legislation. Cases emphasize civil liberties and civil rights, including freedom of speech, press, religion, and limits of the 1st Amendment, the 14th Amendment, the 2nd Amendment, and the right to privacy.
