POLS 4322 - Race and Ethnic Politics in the U.S. 3 hour(s) Examination of the roles of race and ethnicity in US politics and how we define the ideas of racial and ethnic identity, surveying the experiences of several racial/ethnic minority groups in the United States. Analysis of current social scientific research on the political importance of race and ethnicity and their impact in several areas of U.S. politics and policymaking, including elections, voting behavior, public opinion, and representation.
