Two Science courses required one Life Science and one Physical Science, one course must have a lab:

BIOL 1400  and PHSC 1400  are recommended

Professional Education courses may not be taken until after students are officially admitted to the teacher education program

Candidates seeking EC-6 Certification must earn a C or better in all Foundation, Supporting and Professional Education courses.

Candidates seeking EC-6 Certification may earn only one D in PHIL, Foreign Language or THSA as long as the cululative GPA requirement is met.  These three courses fulfull General Education requirements and are not considered “content” courses per TEA.
