School Psychology prepares students to meet the academic requirements for licensure as a Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) through the Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists (TSBEP). Additional certificates for Assessment Specialty in Autism and Psychological Services for Spanish Speaking Populations (PSSSP) may also be obtained as specified below. The program prepares students to work with children and adolescents within the school environments where they will utilize a variety of methods including counseling, assessment, consultation and behavioral intervention techniques.
