MUSI 3319 - Sacred Music Literature I

Survey study of standard hymnody, contemporary praise, Southwest Texas and Mexican American repertoire, both choral and instrumental. Topics include score study, listening analysis, and style analysis. Students will build a repertoire book for their professional careers. Required for music majors; minors by request.
Prerequisite: MUSI 2340 or MUSI 2345, MUSI 3324.
