CISS 1315 - Computer Programming Logic and Design3 hrs Introductory course in program design using structured programming techniques and pseudocode to develop solution algorithms. The student will learn how to define the problem, how to design a solution algorithm and how to prove the algorithm’s correctness. Introduction to structured programming techniques, top-down development and modular design, basis control structures, desk checking techniques, hierarchy charts, and object-oriented design methodology. Prerequisite: CISS 1310 . Offered: Fall.
