NPMT 8324 - Nonprofit Project Demonstrating Mastery 3 hour(s) This is an integrative capstone course to be taken in the final semester of a student’s study plan. Capstone Project options include (1) starting and launching a fully established and operational nonprofit organization with activities completed or scheduled/announced, or (2) writing and presenting to an active nonprofit’s CEO and/or governing board a strategic plan for the next 3-5 years addressing at least two designated functional areas with recommendations. Students will integrate knowledge and skills acquired during their previous nine NPMT courses to demonstrate proficiency in critical thinking, general knowledge of the nonprofit commons, clear and logical expression, attention-to-detail, and/or persuasive delivery of consultatory advice/behaviors to improve mission fulfillment by an active nonprofit organization.
