INDS 1311 - Applications of Learning 3 hour(s) An academic centered seminar designed to assist first-year students in building the skills, knowledge, and confidence necessary for success in college. Students are introduced to the spirit of academic excellence and intellectual rigor while engaging critically with the ideals and values of a Catholic mission and identity. Students are exposed to strategies required for college-level academic inquiry and college success, including critical thinking, communication, cultural competence, problem-solving, data interpretation, and institutional knowledge. Students explore career choices and ways to achieve academic and personal goals. Grading Basis: Letter Grade Is this course repeatable for credit? No Offered: Fall, Spring.
