ARTS 5325 - Art of the Ancient Americas in Mexico and Texas

An overview of the art and the rich cultural developments of ancient Mesoamerica and the territory now considered Texas. In addition to art, the course will cover a range of topics including history, mythology, food, music, dress, writing and the creation of the sacred. Experiential learning component may be part of this course.
