HIST 3354 - Mexican American History 3 hour(s) Interweave the history of Mexicans and Mexican Americans with the larger historical narrative of the United States from their Indigenous origins to the present with an emphasis on the 19th and 20th centuries; evaluate the impact of racial and gender ideologies; view larger social, political and economic developments that had had an impact on the Mexican and Mexican American experience. Students will use digital tools for preservation, research and virtual projects; students will investigate local history for public history projects and will learn basic oral history methodology for academic and public history audiences. Grading Basis: Letter Grade Is this course repeatable for credit? No Prerequisite(s): CMAS 1301 . Offered: Fall of Odd Years.
