HIST 4322 - Spanish Borderlands in North America 3 hour(s) Spain’s expansion from the Caribbean and Mexico into the present United States up to 1821; colonization and its impact on Indigenous peoples, Euro-Indigenous relations, and the social, economic, and political development of present-day American Southwest and Southeast. Students will engage in projects using digital and archival resources, historiographical methodology, and will create individual and/or group projects.
