POLS 4361 - Politics of Latin America 3 hour(s) Introduces themes of democracy and democratization to contemporary Latin American countries. Examines historical and current forms of government, culture, society, and nature of political and economic development. Special topics include comparative legal systems, transition and consolidation of democracy, and the role of political culture, the state, interest groups, class structure, and political institutions.
