EDUC 4364 - Approaches to Emergent Bilinguals (EB) 3 hour(s)
Current approaches to second language acquisition (SLA) and Emergent Bilingual (EB) instruction; methodology of teaching and testing Emergent Bilinguals (EB); design, implementation and evaluation of EB programs and materials. Analysis of language contact in society including code-switching, language varieties and bilingualism. 10 hours of field experience required in an ESL classroom.

Prerequisite(s): EDUC 3310 or EDUC 3320 .
