SPED 4324 - Developmental Disabilities and Autism 3 hour(s) Background in characteristics, causes, prevalence and identification of individuals with developmental disabilities and autism. Specific interventions for facilitating the education and training for this target population. Examination of theory and practice of transition planning from school to community living, post-secondary education, and employment. 40 hours of field experience required in specialized setting.
