ECON 8305 - The Economics of Global Business Conditions 3 hour(s) Analyzes the global economy in which business operates today. Attention centers on the key policy issues and major economics forces that affect business activity and on the tools necessary to evaluate these issues and forces. The former include unemployment, inflation, fiscal policy and the true nature of budget deficits, monetary policy and the changing financial environment, and the roles of the U.S. dollar, productivity and international trade. The course also explores the role played by the U.S. and world financial markets in influencing the domestic and global economic environments.
