This course examines from a practitioner perspective the recruitment, orientation, training, knowledge and skills improvement, incentivization, evaluation, and progressive development of nonprofit staff and volunteers. Also included are outsourcing considerations and mixing work efforts by employees, contracted labor, and volunteers with ROI in mind. Additionally, best practice volunteer engagements are examined such as developmental committee assignments, individual advisors, and staff supportive assignments.
