Health in Marginalized Populations Certificate

A graduate level certificate program that examines the multiple determinants of health and the interconnectedness of physical, social, and environmental aspects of community health, such as the impact of discrimination and policies on the health of communities. Courses provide an in-depth look at the interrelation of health patterns, the forces that give rise to them, and attempts to address these health concerns through healthcare policies and practices.

These programs prepares graduates for careers in multiple areas of health and medicine, including public health, clinical practice, community and metro health, healthcare policy, administration and management, as well as making them competitive applicants for continuing medical education and career promotion.
