Finance Minor

Requirements:

The minor in finance is available to all OLLU undergraduate students. Finance is optimizing the use of financial capital under conditions of risk and uncertainty to add value. The minor is designed for any student who wishes to understand terminology, theory, and models in finance. Students will learn to apply analytical methods and acquire critical thinking skills to make financial decisions. 

To earn a finance minor you must:

• Take all finance minor courses for a letter grade.
• At least 4 courses must be taken at OLLU.

Take the following required courses:

• ACCT 2311 - Principles of Accounting I 3 hour(s)
• ECON 2302 - Principles of Economics II 3 hour(s)
• FINC 3321 - Business Finance 3 hour(s)
• 9 Additional advanced hours from FINC courses
