Accelerated Bachelor’s to Master’s For Eligible BA in Data Analytics Students:
Undergraduate students may earn credit toward the Certificate or MS in Business Analytics while completing a Bachelor ofArts in Data Analytics through the Accelerated Bachelor’s to Master’s (ABM) degree program. Students accepted into the ABM program will be eligible to take two courses (six credit hours) from the list of courses listed below concurrently with their undergraduate courses. These two courses will count toward both the Certificate or Master’s degree and the advanced Data Analytics-related course requirement in the undergraduate Data Analytics degree. The graduate courses also allow undergraduate students to build specific career-oriented focus areas that expand on advanced undergraduatecourse work.
Students in the Data Analytics Accelerated Bachelor’s-to-Master’s (ABM) degree program must adhere to the following program restrictions, admission requirements, and deadlines:
 

Restrictions:

  • Maximum number of master’s level courses that can be taken: 2 (6 credit hours)
  • Courses that must be taken prior to taking any graduate courses:

For ABM students pursuing the MS in Business Analytics:

Graduate courses that may be taken by Certificate or MS in Business Analytics ABM students:

  • CISS 8341, CISS 8341 Database Management for Business Analysis replaces CISS 3330  Database Analysis and Design
  • MKTG 8310 Marketing Analytics replaces MKTG 4325  Marketing Research Project

Admission Requirements for ABM students pursuing the Certificate or MS in Business Analytics:

  • Current OLLU student
  • Overall GPA: 3.0 at time of application, prior to enrolling in first graduate course, and in semesters in which enrolled in graduate courses while an undergraduate student
  • GPA in major: 3.0 at time of application, prior to enrolling in first graduate course, and in semesters in which enrolled in graduate courses while an undergraduate student
  • At time of application, completed 75 or more credit hours that apply to a BA in Data Analytics undergraduate degree with grades of C- or higher in all major requirements
  • Prior to enrolling in first graduate course, completed 90 or more credit hours that apply to the Data Analytics undergraduate degree with grades of C- or higher in all major requirements completed
  • Two faculty endorsements, submitted by:
    • Student’s faculty advisor
    • Another full-time faculty member in the ABM discipline

Deadlines:
To begin taking graduate courses in summer or fall semesters: February 1
To begin taking graduate courses in the spring semester: September 1
