Business Administration: Moye MBA: An accelerated MBA
30 semester hours
The Moye Master of Business Administration Program is an innovative program designed to allow completion of the MBA in three semesters. We are inspired by the actions of the Congregation of Divine Providences as social entrepreneurs in starting schools in South Texas including Our Lady of the Lake University. Offered in the popular face-to-face weekend and online, the Moye MBA focuses on sharpening skills in decision-making and problem-solving behavior for professional administrators. The program’s instructional design integrates scientific and technological advances with proven principles and best practices in accounting, finance, management, and marketing. The Moye MBA program requires a commitment to an intensive educational experience as well as a considerable degree of independence and discipline.
With student cohorts, we assume that adult students, given a structured set of learning objectives and a prescribed methodology, can independently master course content. Instructional contact hours are less than more traditional face-to-face programs. Student work includes teacher-directed learning and teamwork both inside and outside the scheduled contact hours. Graduate business faculty expects students to complete work in a timely and professional manner.
Applications will be subject to the current Graduate Program Admissions Committee Approved Policies and Procedures.
